    Saling boats (Felluca) be hired along Aswans river promenade for trips at various hours. Prices depend on negotiation skills, the mood of the sailboat owner, where you purchase it (directly or from the sailboat captains). I strongly recoomend a sailing boat compared to the motor boats, as they are quiet, don not cause polution, are not noisi, have no loud music coming out of beat boxes as in motor boats. I rented one for EGP 600 to cross over to the West Bank Aswan Nubian Village, visit the tombes of the nobles ans hike up the view point Qubbet el-Hawa. The captain was waiting for me during my hike, and we returned safely to the promenade. Payment was made at the end and to the price agreed at the start of the sailing trip.
