Coming from Tres Cruces by the mine road (open to all vehicles) you arrive at the entrance to the village of El Aguilar. A gatekeeper watches the access but he let us pass without problem so that we could cross this pass. The ascent is on a beautiful gravel track. A section of about 500m was too steep to do on the bike (already 4000m altitude). Otherwise everything is doable with a mountain bike or touring bike (provide big tires for the descent)
