Mulky Gap serves as a popular trailhead for those exploring the Duncan Ridge Trail. A good stopping point, I would recommend you camp here before continuing your journey, in either direction. There are some water sources nearby, but pack or stash ahead of time extra water, just in case they have dried up for the season.
