The optimal period for aurora viewing in this region spans from August to April, with clear, dark skies enhancing the experience. While sightings can never be guaranteed, the serene environment of Talvijärvi provides a great setting for aurora spotting. Dress up warmly and bring some snacks and hot drinks!
