The Anzenberg is a basalt cone 593 m above sea level. NN and is located two kilometers east of Kemnath on the B 22 Kemnath-Schönreuth in the district Tirschenreuth. It belongs to the tertiary volcanoes of the northern Upper Palatinate and consists of a Schlotbrekzie. A cross adorns the pointed rock group called Anzenstein on the rocky summit.
