Hiking
Hattstein pond, but also past the smaller fountain pond. The route via Wilhelmsdorf station mainly goes through mixed forests, only rarely across open areas, and is therefore also good for hiking in the summer months.
The paths of the Usingen rabbit lead across open, agricultural areas into the town. This is also an opportunity to explore the historic town hall and the former castle.
The slightly longer Libelle Usingen hiking trail leads
past the Hattstein and Grünwiesen ponds, and also circles the Usingen earth station.
