The Church of Misericórdia in Montemor-o-Novo is part of a complex comprising the church and adjacent buildings, which house an important archive of the Misericórdia. The church was built in 1532 and is famous for its magnificent Manueline-style portal, while the remaining buildings date back to the 17th century.
The historic organ was designed by Pascoal Caetano Oldovini (Oldoni, Oldovino or Olduvini), built in 1752.
