The unique location of the Praia de Santa Cruz Aerodrome, which is the westernmost aerodrome in Europe, on the west coast of Portugal, approximately 45 km from Lisbon, provides the aeronautical community with unique facilities on a national level. This Aerodrome has a 609-metre long asphalt runway, a flight operations room fully equipped to meet the operational needs of pilots and a restaurant with a terrace to enjoy family moments.
The Torres Vedras Aeroclub Flight School, located in Hangar 2 of the Aerodrome facilities, provides students with several fully equipped classrooms, a library and a flight simulator.
