The Schachtbaude was opened in 1975 on the site of the former Muldenstein open-cast mine. In the style of a mountain hut, it is designed entirely in wood and immediately exudes comfort. In the summer months, meals are also served on the terrace. From inside and outside, guests have a wide view of the Mulde reservoir. The restaurant is dedicated to Dutch and German cuisine. As the name suggests, the speciality here is Pannenkoek in a wide variety of variations.
The Schachtbaude "Pannenkoek" is the ideal place to take a culinary break after a hike or bike ride in the Dübener Heide.
