Tips

  • Mapf

The Reinsberge were formed from rocks of Triassic formation. They consist mainly of shell limestone. Over the course of the millennia, the weather has formed partly bizarre rocks that resemble those in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains. One result of these rock formations is a karst spring on the western slope of the Reinsberg, the Spring of Plaue (Wikipedia).
