The Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption cathedral in Rouen was built from 1035 on a Romanesque cathedral style. Then changes took place in 1145 making the building a Gothic cathedral.
The huge 151-meter spire added in 1876 made Rouen Cathedral the tallest building in the world for a few years. Even today, it is the third largest church in the world.
