Parson’s Landing is a secluded beach campground seven miles west of Two Harbors. With only eight primitive sites, staying here is a remote camping experience accessible from Two Harbors by a 6.7-mile hike on the Silver Peak Trail or a flatter 7.7-mile walk on West End Road. Additionally, boaters can take a 4.25-mile kayak trip from along the coast with bays to take breaks at along the way. Along with the mandatory reservation to camp here, there are lockers stocked with firewood, fire starter, and water available for purchase in advance. The beach is a great spot for a refreshing swim after a long day of hiking before falling asleep to the sound of waves lapping the shore.
