The Sami College in Kautokeino is a college for Sami studies and the training of teachers and journalists in Norway. Founded in 1989, it is the only institution in Norway where research, education, and administration are conducted in Northern Sami. Its aim is to promote the use of the Sami language and the preservation of Sami culture among the Sami people.
