The Jägersbleeker pond was created around the year 1670 and is about 330 meters long and maximally as wide. Its dam measures about 13 meters in height and around 220 meters in length. It can be reached via various hiking / forest trails from Clausthal-Zellerfeld or one of the numerous parking spaces on federal road 242 or the road between Clausthal-Zellerfeld and Altenau.
Stamp number 127 of the Harz hiking pin is located in the Weppner Hut.

The Jägersbleeker pond used to be completely idyllic in the dense spruce forest.
Because of the bark beetle, there is now almost free space around this beautiful pond.
However, the wide view also has its charm and it is slowly becoming more colorful here too - many wildflowers that were not there before due to a lack of light now give the Jägersbleeker pond a different, new charm.
Attached is the refuge with the stamp office and several seating options.
