Above Oberpilmersreuth (Horní Pelhrimov), on a side summit of the Grünberg, you can see the remains of the former Baroque pilgrimage church of St. Anna. It had developed from an old chapel of the Franciscans in the 18th century and attracted pilgrims from all over the area. To the plant belonged a rectory, a hospice and for a while even a school. As befits a pilgrimage church, there was also an inn near Oberpilmersreuth. The village Oberpilmersreuth was in the military restricted area and was completely demolished in the 50s, the inhabitants were resettled or expelled. Around the church was a cemetery, which was also leveled. Some old tombstones have been dug up again and turned into a small memorial. Also set up again was a war memorial for fallen and missing persons of the First World War. From the church you can still see the basement of the rectory and extensive rubble heaps and foundations. Because of this pilgrimage church called the Grünberg also St. Anna mountain or Annenberg.
