    Picnic Lakes are a pair of picturesque alpine lakes that straddle the Picnic Lakes Trail within the Jewel Basin Hiking Area in Montana's Flathead National Forest. Situated at an elevation of approximately 6,644 feet, these lakes are nestled below Mount Aeneas near the junction of the Picnic Lakes Trail with the Mount Aeneas trail. They are known for their clear waters, surrounding subalpine meadows, and great views of the surrounding peaks.
