At the two artificial lakes, the chances of seeing alligators are very high. I saw small and large alligators practically every time I walked around the lake. Since the sandy path is slightly elevated from the lakeshore, you have a good view of the water and the shore, making it easy to spot the animals. Turtles and waterfowl can also be seen.
