Bike Touring Highlight
View of the Cologne Cathedral from the Rhine promenade. The trail is not recommended for cyclists on weekends and holidays, as there are just too many pedestrians on the way. Even during the week, slalom is usually the order of the day when the weather is nice.

At the foot of the Hohenzollern Bridge on the banks of the Rhine, a memorial stone stands inconspicuously for the gay and lesbian victims of National Socialism. 10,000 - 15,000 of them were deported to concentration camps and half of them were murdered there. These concentration camp inmates wore a pink triangle as a badge. This sign is taken up by Achim Zinkan in his memorial stone in 1995.
