A legend and written sources that have survived in recent times indicate that Yakovlevo, as a settlement, arose under the first Russian tsar from the Romanov dynasty - Mikhail Fedorovich (1613-1645), it was located at the confluence of the Talsha River with the Uvod. In Soviet times, there was a nature reserve here.
