The Mike Miller Educational Trail is a short, mile-long loop located near South Beach, Oregon, and is popular for for birding, hiking, and walking. It's open year-round and dogs are welcome and may be off-leash in designated areas. The trail winds through a lush old-growth forest featuring Sitka spruce, western hemlock, Douglas fir, and coastal pine trees. Along the path, you'll encounter bridges, observation decks, and benches. There are interpretive trail guides available at the start for you to follow along as you hike and learn about the area's ecosystems.
