The Lower Purgatory Creek Conservation Area Hiking Trail is a cool 2.6-mile out-and-back trail located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. The trail follows the shaded, lush banks of Purgatory Creek, featuring seven bridges and occasional boardwalks over wet areas. The trail is mostly flat, with some exposed tree roots and muddy spots, making it suitable for families and casual hikers. This is truly a hidden gem through a very pretty area. Parking is available at Homeward Hills Park near the baseball field off Homeward Hills Road.
