The Douglas fir was planted in 1870 and is now 36m high. The wood would suffice for the construction of two family houses.

The Douglas fir was planted in 1870, making it one of the first imports of Douglas fir plants from America to Europe. The trunk circumference of the tree, which has been a natural monument since 1989, is 4.20 m.
