Hiking
The rampart is located near the town of Alt Kalen, about 250 m southeast of the church. It was probably originally a Slavic castle with an outer diameter of about 200 m. A main castle of about 100 m was later integrated. In the early German period around/after 1200, the old rampart was expanded into a tower hill castle and was granted town rights.
