Lageswarte (HWN 102)

From the storage room, you have a spectacular panoramic view in good weather. Over the mountains to the east, the Brocken towers up and to the north spreads the shallow Harz foreland. There is also a stamp for all collectors of the Harzer hiking nobility.

The fresh green gives the stamp point nine shines again, in good weather you have a view of the innermost and the Brocken.

The climb is worth a great view and the forest is still green.

The ascent from the club place is worthwhile. In good weather a great view.

Beautiful view. Unfortunately very windy and unprotected. There are benches there, but neither a hut nor a table.

Nice view over the dam! Currently (March 2020) the paths - especially on the steep ascent and descent to the control room - are very slippery and partly under water, but with good shoes you can walk.

The ascent requires some stamina; but the view is wonderful: Brocken, Bocksberg and the Harz foothills.
After the descent there is a wonderful bathing place at the Innerstestausee.

Insanely beautiful views over the country.

Over 300 vertical meters on 6 km route. Only recommended for experienced hikers. The view from the Lagewarte is incredible. In good weather you can see to the Brocken. In the other direction you look below the Lageswarte far behind Goslar, to the horizon.

Wonderful view. The view of the Harz foreland gives you the feeling that the mountain is much higher.

The ascent from the reservoir was really borderline for me as Flachland Tyrolean, but I really wanted the STAMP! But the effort has finally paid off, because I took the stamp, and the wonderful panoramic view.

The Lageswarte is an old state border with a great view over the Harz.

Everything from one point of view - the climb is definitely worth it

From the tree-free heights of the Innerste-Rennsteig and the Lageswarte, messages used to be sent to the surrounding towns by fire signals.
