The tents are pitched, well sealed, facing upwind, as it can get very cold when the wind blows. It's also a place where you can clearly hear all the sounds of nature, from the whisper of the wind to the rustling of the surrounding wilderness.

Hiking

Many people split the hike up to Fitz Roy in multi day hikes. I would recommend to camp if you are trying to combine Cerro Torre and Laguna de los Tres hikes.

Beautifully located campsite in the forest, halfway to Laguna de Los Tres. It is very well known and therefore very frequented, so it's worth arriving early.
