The Wheeler Heights Aboriginal Site engravings were created on a sprawling rock shelf just off the Red Hill Main Trail. This site features a gallery of over 140 individual motifs that open a window into Pre-Colonial Aboriginal life. Take a look into the storytelling scenes, including hunters tracking speared kangaroos, warriors holding shields and boomerangs, and an extensive catalogue of marine life featuring sharks, whales, and stingrays. Woven throughout the site are dozens of mundoes (engraved footprints), which archaeologists believe mapped out ancestral pathways and songlines across the ridge.

Hiking
Some well-preserved aboriginal engravings to be found here. But a disregard for historical treasure by some individuals who need to graffiti their names, beggars belief.
