Head out on this 15.8-km circular trail near Alvito, Beja District. Generally considered a moderately challenging route. This trail is great for mountain biking, running, and bike touring, and it's unlikely you'll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome and may be off-lead in some areas.
The Alvito Mills Trail (PR2 AVT) is part of the walking tours that have seen a strong increase in recent years in Portugal as a whole and in the Alentejo region in particular.

Pleasant route with views of the landscapes of our Alentejo, especially the Chapel of S. Pedro and the windmills.👍🥾
