A beautiful path takes you along the snow-covered Wildsee. The Wildsee probably gave the town of Seefeld, which was first mentioned in 1022, its name. Emperor Maximilian I used the waters for several decades for fish farming and planted lampreys, which is why the lake is also known as Lampretensee. Today it is protected and fishing is no longer allowed here.
