In a wet year, Rock Creek is an amazing water source. In 2024, the creek was flowing nicely for miles and miles with crystal clear, cool water. It was deep enough to take a bath as well. Since most of the area is covered with rocks, tall grass and sagebrush, we forded the creek and found a great spot on the other side. Another note: even if your map shows a backcountry road here, there is pretty much nothing to follow.
