a stele installed in 2024 in tribute to the 8 people who died and 2 were injured during a bombing in August 1944 by the allies following an error.
This place called "the ford of the alder" was a farm occupied by the David family.
The allies bombed thinking of an enemy occupation.
My mother at 12 years old lived not far from there and saw this dramatic bombing.
