A visit to the open-air museum is always worthwhile.
The old buildings were converted from the surrounding villages 1: 1 on the museum grounds and restored.
The oldest building dates from 1600.
In several houses true to the original facilities can be seen. You can also visit craft exhibitions. Among other things, the Böttcher craft, an old blacksmith and a shoemaker's workshop.
Pretty cottage gardens have been created, where herbs and vegetables are grown, which were previously used in the kitchen.
A farmhouse is also used as a registry office.
The museum is from 1.4. until 31.10. Tuesday to Sunday and public holidays
open from 10:00 to 17:00.
Admission for adults is 3 €

The museum, founded in 1911, is one of the oldest museum villages in Germany. A visit to the museum with over 25 residential and commercial buildings is extremely worthwhile and highly recommended.
