The Hohenlandsberg Castle ruins are the remains of the former Hohenlandsberg hilltop castle. The castle was built in the 13th century. During the Peasants' War, the castle was captured unscathed by the peasants in 1525. The castle was destroyed in 1554. Today, one can enter the castle complex through a tunnel and view the ramparts, foundation walls, and the entrances to the casemates.
