A series of 11 locks over a little more than 2 kilometers, roughly one every 200 meters, allows boats to overcome a 27-meter difference in elevation. It's a veritable aquatic elevator on the banks of the Ille-et-Rance Canal. The locks are still operated manually, and each one has its own lock keeper's house in the Napoleonic style.

Very pretty place. Well maintained and with an artistic background 👍. For some time now a bicycle repair station available to cyclists and free of charge. Well done and thank you to the Brittany region 👨🔧👩🔧
