The two-storey, four-winged building from the 18th century is one of the most beautiful beer gardens in the Hallertau. The beer garden is open from April to September (weather permitting) on Fridays from 3 p.m., Saturdays from 2 p.m. and Sundays and public holidays from 10 a.m.

Current opening times, events (not just music with dancing on Sundays), celebration options (in the castle hall - formerly the brewery - with candle lighting and the registry office right in the house), history can be found at ratzenhofen.de.
In any case, it's worth a visit because of the good food and the relaxed atmosphere.
The Bierkrughäusl in the beer garden is also worth seeing.
