The FFH area "Finkenbachtal and Hinterbachtal" begins directly south of the village of Olfen and runs south to the confluence of the Hinterbach and the Finkenbach. The entire valley floor, bounded in the east by a road running parallel to the stream, is part of the area.

Hiking

A beautiful hike starts in Schönmattenwag, leads through the Dürrellenbach Valley, and continues to Olfen. From here, continue along the Hinterbach stream until you turn right and climb through the forest to the Raubach stream. Here, you'll encounter the stories of the original Raubacher Jockel, who recounts his mischief, both big and small, on signs around the village. Continue through the forest downhill back to the Dürrellenbach Valley and back to the car.
