Memorial site for participants of the January Uprising
The "Wrzaskała" forest complex was the camp site of a battle-weary insurgent unit. After being betrayed, it was surrounded by Cossacks from the Sieradz garrison and murdered. The name of the forest comes from the battle cry that could be heard throughout the village
