The old Lüneburger Postweg used to be an important trade route. Here you can still see the old street. Further sunken tracks can be seen in the Lindhoop, near the Lindhoop monument.

Important trade routes passed here, such as this one that was used from prehistoric times until the 19th century. This route has been known as the Lüneburg Salt or Post Route since the Middle Ages.
To the west of the tumulus heather, washed-out gullies in the forest, the old ravines, as remnants of these old routes, can still be clearly seen. These run as a bundle of paths towards the former ford through the Gibbach.

The old road between Kirchlinteln and Weitzmühlen before the construction of the highway. The old cobblestones are still recognizable in some places.
