According to the plan, on April 19, 2024, the pedestrian and vehicle footbridge over the Wisłok River was officially opened for use.

The new crossing connects two parts of Besko divided by the Wisłok River and will serve the residents of the commune moving on foot, on two-wheelers or by passenger cars to school, library, church, cultural center, nursery, sports facilities, commune and post offices, police station, shops or their own homes. It significantly shortens the route to the above-mentioned facilities and, most importantly, directs local pedestrian and car traffic away from the busy and dangerous national road no. 28. (...)
