Known to locals as "Four Mile", you can ride towards Hilo on this northbound one-way parking and access road for great views of the ocean, swimming area, and a historic fish pond. There are showers and restrooms available, a bike rack next to the swimming area to lock your bike, a bike share, and a bus stop (every hour during daylight at about :50 minutes past the hour; the bus has a rack that can carry up to two bikes back into town).
