Another dead-end road that can be reached from the plain near Godey is the climb to La Lui d'en Haute. The road climbs around 200 meters in altitude over 2.5km. The climb is entertaining. Soon you are faced with the impressive field walls of Mont Gond, La Fava and finally Les Diablerets. The power of nature is palpable.
This climb is practically traffic-free. Most visitors to the area are taken to Lac de Derborence, where there is a large car park and from where beautiful hikes can be undertaken.
