Bike Touring Highlight
A well-maintained maze that has no dead ends. In the middle of the labyrinth there is a viewing platform. On the site there is a church, beautiful old large trees, park benches and a children's playground. Off-field car parking, bicycle storage, ticket booths and toilets. A coffee room is also available (2017).

While the castle does not make a big impression, this is well understood by the large park with the church and this beautiful maze. You can sit in the shade under big old trees on nice benches or try your hand at the maze. When paying the entry (2019: 3 € per person) I had forgotten to ask for the way out of the maze. So I ventured without help into the labyrinth. I thought to myself that one looks like so, where all have run long and then there are certainly also Schlopflöcher between the courses. Fortunately, that was not the case (or unfortunately). In part, the hedges are protected by a fence before finding a shortcut and a trail I could not make out. After some searching (komoot unfortunately did not help ;-)) I found the way to the center with the small tower. It is nice, by the way, that there are no dead ends. And I managed to get out of it, too, but to my astonishment the entrance and exit were not the same.
By the way, you have to think about how many meters of hedge (total distance 1230 m) how many times a year must be cut so that you have fun in this maze. Anyone who knows the subject of hedge trimming from their own garden will consider the € 3 as fully justified, I think.
