Tips
Very beautiful architecture and nature.The Diemel Dam is embedded in the hills of the Waldecker Upland and the Hochsauerland. The dam was built from barely weathering greenstone that was mined just below the summit of the Eisenberg. The overflows, which occur almost every year, are spectacular.
