The forest art trail is really worth it, as it is called, there is art made of wood to be seen there. If you do a big loop you come to the Prinzenberg, from there you can look out over Eberstadt. At the end of the loop you come to the Ludwigsturm, where there are places to sit and enjoy the view over Darmstadt.

Hiking

The Association for International Forest Art has been organizing the "International Forest Art Trail" in Darmstadt every two years since 2002, each time with a different theme. It stretches 3.3 km in the Darmstadt forest district from the Böllenfalltor to Ludwigshöhe, past Goethefelsen, Goetheteich and Ludwigshöhturm.

The path through the forest can be viewed as a forest adventure trail, in order to promote the character of scouting and exploration by the visitor. Using the means of art, the forest is brought to the attention of visitors in a new way.
