The Gate of the Kiss, sculpted by Constantin Brâncuși in 1938, is one of the most symbolic works on the monumental route in Târgu Jiu.
Made of travertine, it represents the passage to a new stage of life, marked by the motif of the stylized kiss repeated on the pillars.
Located in the heart of the central park, the gate aligns with the axis connecting the Table of Silence to the Endless Column, forming a coherent ensemble dedicated to the memory of Romanian heroes.
