Shortly after (hiking northbound) you cross the scenic North Saskatchewan River, the Great Divide Trail transitions from Section D to Section E and turns to the northeast. If you are craving food or like to sleep in a bed, there is The Crossing Resort about 1.5 kilometers north along the Icefields Parkway. They also accept packages for a fee and offer buffets and a tiny general store.
