Off the track you hike here on a narrow trail parallel to the Mühlebach over lush meadows. Curious cows and individual mountain farms line your way. From time to time you can hear a loud whistle - that comes from the old steam locomotives of the Brienz-Rothorn-Bahn, which leisurely stroll on winding tracks towards the summit.
