The Canadian War Cemetery in Bergen op Zoom (Bergen op Zoom) contains the graves of 1,116 servicemen, including 968 Canadians. The entrance to the cemetery is formed by two brick pillars, with the entrance between them and a low wall in the middle. Behind this wall is a low metal fence with a gate leading to a spacious lawn. On the back of the wall is a metal plaque detailing the course of the fighting and providing information about the fallen. Further on are two open pavilion buildings, with an altar with an inscription between them. Behind these, dozens of rows of white headstones extend to the left and right. The headstones are made of white Portland stone, one on each grave, each bearing the regimental designation, name, rank, and date of death of the fallen soldier.

At the very back of the cemetery stands a so-called "Cross of Sacrifice," a tall, narrow cross on a plinth upon which a bronze sword is mounted. About ten meters to the right of this cross stands a simple stone grave marker, topped with a cross and a maple leaf in the center. Numerous maples, Canada's national tree, and other greenery surround the cemetery, making it a memorable place of remembrance.
