The unfinished brick wall was necessary after the big fire of the former paper mill "Behring" to get the money from the fire insurance! The Warburger brewery only acquired the Behring family headquarters some time later! HJB

Interesting building, about which you can find out very little. Named “Runkelbunker” in the city of Warburg’s development plan.
If you go uphill on the east wall, you will discover a completely rusted air raid shelter door, which can be opened. Behind it is a small room with an old, defective electrical distributor; to the right a narrow passage in the outer wall leads further into the slope. Due to the lack of a flashlight, no exploration of this corridor.
If you continue uphill on the outside (cutting edge of the top of the east wall with a slope) you can get onto the wall and have a good view of the inside of the complex.
Unfortunately, the Warburger brewery had closed its doors because there is access from the factory premises to the interior area from the south (Diemelufer).
