Approximately halfway from Galtür to the Jamtalhütte is the Scheibenalm at a little over 1,800 m. The cozy rest stop offers home-made products such as Paznauner Almkäse, butter or curd cheese, which you can enjoy on the terrace with a view of the Jamtal glacier. The hut is particularly popular with families, as the Scheibenalm can be reached in a 1.5-hour hike. Especially at the end of June / beginning of July, the blooming alpine roses offer a particularly impressive hiking backdrop that you should not miss.
