Customs is one of the oldest "crafts" - we meet it already in ancient Egypt. It is this period that opens the exhibition of the East Bohemian Customs Memorial, which we conceived in a very modern and vivid way. We will guide you through all the historical periods that influenced the development of customs. We have placed its history, which is closely connected with trade in goods, into a wider historical context.
You will see a life-size house of St. Matouše, the office of the senior customs officer of the Austrian governorship, the "Finanzwache" boardwalk, the office of the customs officer of the First Republic, the uniform of the customs and the financial guard.
